Wearable Art : Turquoise & Navy, Hand Painted, Fine Italian Merino Wool Scarf
Approx 190 x 70 cm

This Wearable Art piece is part of a unique collection of scarves which have been carefully crafted and each aspect of their creation diligently deliberated.

Turquoise & Navy is a painted piece of wearable art that delicately speaks of natural mark making - you’ll note that there are no labels to ruin the flow of the cloth.

The edges are frayed again to allow the delicate line of the fabric to be true to its roots.

Each piece is a unique painting in its own right - this can only be fully appreciated when opened out.  Wearable Art : Turquoise & Navy  is a hand painted landscape, a wearable art piece, highlighlighting my personal drawing style - it's one of a kind.

"I bought the most gorgeous scarf from Dionne, beautifully hand painted." Sandra Neild
As wearable art pieces, the scarves are more than long enough to wrap and tie into a plethora of knots and neck arrangements, yet are happy to simply drape around the shoulders without fear of slipping off [wool grips, silk would skim and fall].

A cool hand wash would be be the most suitable form of laundering, but they are fine on a wool programme in the machine and benefit from a warm iron.

  • "I have wanted one of Dionne's scarves for a long time. Lockdown and my birthday created the perfect situation to buy one! What a treat! It is really beautiful and I don't know whether to wear it or frame it for the wall! The wool is beautifully soft and drapes perfectly and the colours are stunning and painted in Dionne's characteristic mark making. Love it! Thanks Dionne - a real pick me up during the lockdown."
