Drawing Class PART 3 (March)

Thank you for your support and enthusiasm : your drawing adventure continues in next month.

In this third collection of 4 lessons we will be exploring a broader range of media whilst still refering to some of the stable principles of drawing and composition through observation in all it's various forms.  You will reinforce and build on your broad base of knowledge. During the month we will be approaching situations from a variety of angles offering an extended perspective and further opportunites to embrace the fundamentals of drawing/observational techniques.  We will take another look at tonal work, working en plein air, using watercolour and commence our play with colour

Join me on this additional 4 week journey to enliven your creativity and find joy in observing and recording the world around you.  Each week I shall demonstrate a new technique, provide a variety of refernces, talk you through a series of approaches and offer you homework so you can continue and extend your skills.  We will use a new Facebook group to share work and support each other.

Supplies: basic drawing media - a range of weights of pencils, eraser/putty rubber, smalll set of watercolours & practice weight paper [so not overly heavy & expensive - decent cartridge paper in a sketchbook should be ok], A4 sketchbook or similar.  Don't rush out to buy new stuff, work with what you have, but if you feel as if you want to indulge, then go for it [a pack or caran d'ache are always lovely!]

Note there are a limited number of places for each session - this set of 4 classes is only open those who have completed stages I & II
