Fabric Sketchbooks Janome Masterclass FULL

A fabulous new textile workshop based on my uber popular Developing Sketchbooks online workshop….this is the studio version with a strong positive bias towards cloth and stitch exploration.

This is a Janome Masterclass so each student will have a sewing machine and embellisher to work/play with, provided by Janome. – I’ll provide the inspiration and all the fabrics you need: turn up, learn and enjoy!!

You will make a fabric book full of stitch and needle punch exercises and techniques. This is an experimental workshop which is directed more towards the intermediate textile creative.

As with the ‘original’ Developing Sketchbook workshop I’ll help you get over your fear of the blank page [plain fabric]. We’ll look at ways to gather research, to observe and develop/play with imagery & cloth – its a 2 day jam packed extravaganza of fabric and thread exploration
