Online Drawing Day

An Online Drawing Day is an opportunity for you to devote dedicated time to your drawing practice.  It's LIVE and ONLINE direct from my studio....it will feel like you're with me in person. (But you're providing your own materials and lunch!!) I will send you a list of things to gather: it won't be vast, I believe in having less and using it well/broadly....simple but very effective is the mantra.

Numbers will be limited, even though this is an ONLINE Drawing Day: this is to ensure there's the opportunity for plenty of interaction and a good supportive group can be created.

There will be visual warm up exercises, hand to eye coordination practice, techniques and methods of drawing that can lead into textiles (or any other medium for that matter)

I will give demonstrations of techniques and shall be drawing along with you throughout the day.  There will be plenty of time to review your work and ask questions….you can expect to create a series of quick fire drawings and several developed over longer time periods.

I don’t want anyone to suffer from screen tiredness, so the day will be structured with a series of comfort breaks and a pause for lunch…just like a regular day workshop.  If you have any questions please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
