A 3-week jewellery making series at Casa Rondine

Sea glass, stones, beads and treasured finds… transformed into beautiful handmade jewellery over three creative Wednesday evenings 🌿

Working in a small and supportive group, you’ll be guided through a range of techniques for designing and assembling your own wearable pieces — from delicate earrings and pendants to charms, bracelets, and more personal statement pieces.

This is not about producing identical outcomes or following rigid formulas. Instead, the series encourages a more intuitive and individual approach to making, allowing materials to inspire the process. Sea glass softened by the tide, unusual beads, worn fragments, semi-precious stones, and small collected treasures all carry their own texture, history, and character — becoming the starting point for contemporary jewellery with a personal story.

Over the three weeks, you’ll gradually build confidence with tools, techniques, composition, and finishing methods while creating several pieces of jewellery to take home. The series format allows time to experiment, refine ideas, and develop skills more slowly and naturally than in a single workshop session.

Each evening will introduce different approaches and possibilities, including:

✨ Week 1 — Stones, Sea Glass & Simple Settings

An introduction to working with found materials and simple jewellery techniques, exploring balance, proportion, and how to begin transforming treasured objects into wearable pieces.

✨ Week 2 — Layering, Linking & Composition

Exploring ways of combining materials, textures, and forms to create more detailed and expressive jewellery designs.

✨ Week 3 — Creating a Signature Piece

A chance to develop a more resolved or personal piece, with individual guidance and time to refine details and finishing techniques.

The atmosphere throughout is informal, thoughtful, and gently social — a space to slow down, make with your hands, and enjoy the shared rhythm of creativity and conversation.

Held at Casa Rondine in a small group, the series includes demonstrations, individual support, and plenty of opportunity for experimentation regardless of previous experience.
