"Thanks for today’s session, Dionne. The workshop was a delight. First, the little box of treats: lovely hoop, the print of the reservoir, with your characteristic eye drawing structure and a sumptuous range of threads in mixed weights and textures in a gorgeous neutral palette...lovely. Second, the workshop, learned loads about how you work while stitching along, nice chat with some lovely ladies before, finally, rounding of with some tips about how to mount and display the finished piece. How did we pack all that into such a short time? More of these sessions and kits, please. Such fun!"
"Thank you Dionne for a very enjoyable afternoon - I loved the concept and it has made me think about hand embroidery from a new perspective. In the past I’ve always followed very prescriptive patterns that relied on very neat sewing but this is a whole new world."
"Thank you Dionne for a super session this afternoon. I really enjoyed it and it was lovely to be part of an artistic group again. I loved the creative hand stitchery, right up my street! I can’t wait to continue the stitching.
It was a lovely surprise receiving your package of threads etc and it was a first for me using gold thread. A great inspirational session. Looking forward to another one!"
"Thank you for a lovely afternoon of sewing and chat. The format worked really well - and the chatrooms idea was inspired as it was lovely to chat with some of the other sewers.
The kit was great - receiving it and opening it was great fun and it helped not having to make any decisions about fabric or thread for a change.
I work fulltime so having an afternoon off to sew with others was a real treat and something I've been looking forward to all week!"
