This was a tricky decision - what do you think of my new postcards??
When it comes time to re-stock your postcards, you are faced with a pretty tricky decision...500 or 1000 postcards can take sometime to give away [especially as face to face shows & exhibitions are scarce these days!] So the image you choose is with you for a significant period of time.
My latest offering takes a very different stance to any of my earlier pieces of printed promotion; it shows my drawing and relevant landscape muse. The edge of my spiral sketchbook is in shot, as is my thumb as I hold my sketch book.
It's work in progress, it raw, honest and far from the polished studio shots often illustrated in this format - but does it translate? Have I been too raw? Will potential customers 'get it'?
The reverse gives my signature, basic contact information and a new strap line : 'Creating through observation'.
Visitors to The Great Northern Contemporary Craft Fair at Victoria Baths in Manchester [13th - 16th October] will be the first to receive these new pieces of publicity...so lets see!
Visitors to my stand B05 will also have the opportunity to enter a prize draw to receive £50 OFF a Summer School in Abruzzo, where they can see this very muse for themselves!
